Class Description
Community Organizations A nonprofit organization or group which primarily exists for the benefit of Plum Borough Community residents. Examples of such groups are organizations that sponsor cultural activities, recreational programs, civic clubs, garden clubs, veterans, Lions, Rotary, churches, etc.


District Approved Feeder Groups Based on the size, day and time of the event, additional custodial, PBSD Police, and Auxiliary Police may be necessary. This cost will be assumed by the organization or group.

The District Approved Feeder groups are required to make a $1,500.00 deposit down at the time of rental request. This deposit will be held in escrow and not used by the district.  The deposit can carry from year to year and will only be forfeited by the program if they fail to clean the facility before they leave, or do not uphold their portion of the contract.   The District Approved Feeder groups will be charged at the hourly rate listed above to cover any costs incurred by the District that were neglected by the District Approved Feeder groups.  If/When the deposit is depleted, the District Approved Feeder group may not rent the facilities until a new deposit is secured.  The District Approved Feeder groups have the ability to utilize a security guard to unlock/lock gates as needed.  The District Approved Feeder Group must supply a roster upon request with names, addresses and age of all players before the season begins. Failure to do so will result in loss of permit and privileged usage. To be eligible for this classification they must have 90% Plum Borough Residents.
District Support Groups A Plum Borough Community Organization whose sole purpose is providing activities for the youth (four (4) through eighteen (18) years of age) of the Plum Borough Community (incudes St. John’s Athletic Programs and The Sampson Family YMCA). Youth Group designation requires that ninety percent (90%) of the children participating in the activity must be residents of the Plum Borough Community. Must submit an organization roster with names, addresses and parent/guardian phone numbers.


Private/Charged Admissions Any other nonprofit group, organization or entity.


Private/Charged with Prior Approval Any nonprofit group, organization or entity with prior written board approval
School Sponsored A group, organization or other entity sponsored by one (1) of the following: Plum Borough School District; Board approved student groups, clubs, activities or organizations; district booster clubs; district parent-teacher organizations; or similar entities that are directly related to or affiliated with Plum Borough School District and its activities.
